Hello! I have the opportunity to pick up a cz 527 in 7.62x39, I'd like to convert it to 6 arc, what would that process look like? I know the bolt face is slightly different and I'd need a new barrel, how would I fix the bolt face issue? I've never converted a rifle to a new caliber before.

Thanks,
Love your forum.

I converted one there is NO change for bolt face . Put a barrel on it and go .  I did have the new barrel contoured to my stock because I was told I could not find a stock for a carbine . Had Pac-Nor copy the old barrel out to end of stock then take that all the way to the end of barrel .
I love my cz527 6arc

I went with a Pac-Nor Barrel 24" match grade and did not have it threaded, But had it done later (mistake on my part) 1-7.5 twist
I hunt deer and target practice always with 90gr or heavier bullets have had no problems with stability

Thanks!
