Howa Barrelled Actions - rocknrod - 03-13-2024

Did anyone else notice that Brownells had a 6arc 20" carbon barreled action listed? I say did, because it was on the website one day listed as out of stock and gone the next.  I signed up for a notification as I might be interested. I have to say I am disappointed in the budget 6arc bolt gun options as I would prefer a 24" barrel. I don't have the funds to rebarrel a new rifle or action. Question for those with the 22" 6arc barreled action. Seems like a fairly slender profile. Does it make a reasonably accurate rifle. Close to 1 moa 5 shot groups with factory ammo?

The Savage Switchback that I just picked up as used as the 22" barrel and it is about the same profile as the 26" Model 12 Heavy Varmint barrel I have. So far I only have about 10 rounds thru it just to sight in the scope. That was shot with some junk loads with leftover 80gr bullets for a 243 and it was shooting under MOA at 200 yards.
