First ground squirrel session of the year! - SpeyRod - 04-18-2024 Went 15/18 on them out to 350 yds. The 87vmax at 2,943 leaves no doubt when it hits. I am really loving this gun! RE: First ground squirrel session of the year! - SpeyRod - 04-19-2024 They do a lot of damage so shooting them is a necessity. It is also a lot of fun when you get the longer shots. I was telling a buddy the other day, I can have a bull elk come in to 5 yards and choose not to shoot it. But when I see a ground squirrel I start shaking and just want to shoot it.
