Accubond - CZ527 Guy - 10-11-2024 Anyone give the accubonds a try in the 6mm ARC? RE: Accubond - Old Bob - 10-11-2024 I'd be interested as well if anyone has experimented with the 90gr Accubond bullets in 6mm ARC. RE: Accubond - grayfox - 10-11-2024 The thought had occurred to me, both the 90 but also the (older I guess?) 95 grainers. But honestly, at their price vs the price of the sierra 90 tgk's (90's but also 100's if they ever come back in stock) have a better bc, more available and much better price... so I passed on the 6mm accubonds. Imagine the ABs are stubbier (cp to the tgk's or even the Bergers) so would have to be seated somewhat deeper... o yeah there's also the 90 eldx... Anyway, at 6Arc speeds the Nosler ballistic tips would be fine, far as I'm concerned. I do have some of those in 95. RE: Accubond - 300BLK - 10-12-2024 Midway had 90gr TGKs in stock yesterday at 3/4 the price of ELDX. I would expect the Speer 85gr BTs to work well for deer sized game . The higher BCs of the super sleek bullets really don’t matter much unless you’re beyond 300 yards. 85gr Partitions should be really good. RE: Accubond - Old Bob - 10-12-2024 Midway has the 6mm 90gr Accubond bullets also. After seeing their prices, I decided to get the the Sierra Game Kings instead. RE: Accubond - CZ527 Guy - 10-13-2024 A bit better pricing than midway. https://ammocitysupply.com/products/nosler-6mm-90gr-accubond-50ct.html?sku=NOSB56357 |
