Federal 6mmARC Ammo Coming - BluntForceTrauma - 02-09-2025

On their website HERE, Federal Ammunition says a Gold Medal 6mm ARC loading with a Berger 108gr bullet is "coming soon."

Bullet is probably the Berger 6mm 108gr BT with a G1 BC of .522.

Would like to see the Berger 6mm 108gr Elite Hunter with a G1 BC of .559 — only .040 longer overall.

Or could have just used the Berger 6mm 105gr Hybrid with BC .536 and gotten a touch more velocity.

Sometimes I don't know what these companies are thinking: "Hmmm ... we have the choice of very similar bullets that would both work equally well, yet we have a chance to do something amazing from the ground up because we have a blank slate, but let's use the one that is technically inferior."

While I seldom shoot factory ammo, I still would like to see a Federal fusion offering w a Gold dot bullet for hunting.

Can Nosler be far behind?

Federal-Berger? I bet they're hawking the bullet that doesn't sell as much...
Get it off their shelves.

GF hit the nail on the head. You can find the 108 BTs anywhere you look. The 105 Hybrids and 109 LR Hybrids are very difficult to find and extremely expensive when you do.

It's my understanding that Berger only has a few machines and does large production runs. I'm convinced that Berger creates scarcity for certain bullets with inelastic demand to keep their margins up.
