Hornady 90gr GMX - Bassfish1952 - 08-21-2022 What is the difference in shooting Hornady 90gr GMX and their 90gr CX On their reloader app they are listed together with same loading info but different SD GMX is 0.218. CX is .195 G-1 BC. GMX is .422. CX is .418 But both are listed with the same loading data CX replaced GMX are both in production now or just CX Would it be worth it to get some of the GMX if you could get enough to find a good load and have left overs for hunting ? Thanks RE: Hornady 90gr GMX - CZ527 Guy - 08-21-2022 Id try to be patient until the 90 gr CX is more readily available. If you are un-able to wait you may consider an 85 gr Lehigh defence controlled chaos. Hate to work up a load & like it only only to need to work up another load for the CX around the corner. Worse yet could to be to work up a load & not like it only to need to move on to another option. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020626017?pid=378710 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNSJgAXlES4 RE: Hornady 90gr GMX - Bassfish1952 - 08-21-2022 The reason I asked there was 3 boxes of 50 on the net and Hornady was showing same data for both. I wasn't sure how far out the 2 would be from each other. In 6.5 CM I have some of both in 120gr Superformance factory ammo shooting them at the range I can't see any difference But that is without a rest just as I would be in the field and with the rifle zeroed with the GMX Thanks |
