The Grendel community used a lot of 7.62x39 brass in the early days when factory brass was hard to find.
Observations:
1) Brass cases should be used
2) At least some 7.62x39 brass is thicker than Hornady & Lapua brass.
— Max safe loads will have abit less powder
— Weigh or, preferably, measure the volume with water to verify difference in unternal volume.
3) Some 7.62x39 brass useslarge primers, so check that too in the brass you collect.
There might be other issues raised in the Grendel forum, but the stuff should work!
