Brand new to 6 ARC and the forum. I know the 6 ARC is a precision cartridge, so factory ammunition is usually precision focused. But, was just curious as I learn about this cartridge more, is there cheap FMJ ammo or something similar? I figure the cartridge may not be popular enough for something like that to be around, yet.
Thanks.

Best place to look for ammo is ammoseek.com, they will list ammo and prices for you from all over the web.

Welcome Axis24!
Sadly, I know of no FMJ cheap ammo yet for the 6arc. I think you can find the Hornady Black for just over a buck per round.
Supposedly, AAC ammo will be coming out with a load and that should be less expensive.

For plinking…. I reload with the Barnes Varmint Grenade bullets. There is no cheap factory ammo solution for plinking. I was hoping that Wolf would load some plinking ammo for 6 ARC like they do for 6.5 Grendel.

I have only been shooting the 6ARC for about 3 months. I live in northern Maine, but work on the coast three days a week and I have been stopping by every gunshop I pass on my 2-1/2 commute. Maybe 6 in all. A few of these are "ammo shops" more than gun shops. So far I have never seen a box of 6mm ARC factory ammo anywhere.

If you reload, there is the Speer 75 grain HP, which is super cheap. I have gotten sup-moa from my Howa Mini using that bullet. A step up from there is the Speer 70 TNT bullet. I've also been able to get sub MOA with that bullet, and it seems to group a little better for me than the 75, but they're really close. The TNT line has a long history of success for lots of calibers and in lots of cartridges.
Only shot these at 100 yards.
