Looking for folks test results with these powders, AR-Comp & 8208XBR. These are the only 2 powders I have and unable to acquire other types for now so I have to make do with what I have. Greatly appreciated if you post your test results (good & bad) to include the bullets you tested with and platform type (gas/bolt).
Be safe!

I save those powders for the Grendel. Hornady has some data for them, generally in lighter bullets. You can work up from there.

I have had good success with 80 gr Speer Softpoints and XBR. Accuracy above the pedigree of the bullet. I've been using it in converted Starline 7.62x39 brass with a large rifle primer so my load be will be lighter than it would be with SRP brass. I used Hornady's data for 80 gr GMX's recognizing that an LRP will create higher pressure offsetting the monolithic bullet they used. My results weren't nearly as good with 90s, but might be worth a try in traditional brass with a later pressure peak. My velocity with 80s is a little over 2700 which is fine for my practice application since the flat based bullet gets wonky around 400. I wouldn't waste any XBR trying 105s. AR Comp is likely a much better candidate there, but we likely need pioneers.

Thank you for that info, much appreciated! I'm planning to load up some 105 RDF's over some AR-Comp just to get some pressure and fps data, I'll share my results afterwards.

I have Berger 105s but no AR-Comp powder yet, and would be very interested in the results
