I have been doing this for years, but just found a video on it and thought I would share.
If you can not see the tyranny of having a gun ban enforced by men with guns... Then you fail to understand why the second amendment was written in the first place.

Thanks for sharing. Considered doing nearly the same thing in the past at around 7 to 10 firings with Grendel or 6mm ARC though I have not as of yet. Fairly sure Norma or Hornady would not encourage us to do anything of the sorts.
Id say not for every case & not for every individual. Though I can see a place for such, we will call this another step to our recycling process bag of tricks.

I'd be wary of doing this with brass for an AR - it's just making the lip of the pocket mouth smaller - not the whole pocket. I guess it would work if you don't mind blowing one every now and then and don't need to worry about where they might end up.
Also wonder what it might do to the flash holes.

I have never had a problem losing primers from the pocket. I have brass that has been fired 14 times. I will be scraping it after the next firing as I have already staked the primer pocket once. I don;t do it a second time .
I don't use pin gauges to size them, but use a pocket reamer instead just in case I over do them.
My dad showed me this trick when we were shooting a lot of Creedmore stuff. back then the brass was hard to find a quite expensive. Some rounds are really hard on primer pockets, even some of the pistol rounds like magnums.

Ive throw out 6.5x55 Lapua, some Hornady Grendel and some 256 WM magtech brass recently. I load to the limit LOL

You can get a little money back on your worn out brass if you take it to a metal recycler. Locally, it's about $2.15 a pound.
