88gr Shock Hammer Bullet

Has anyone loaded any of these and if so what do you think of them. Not happy with the Hornady 103ELDX and looking for a replacement with good power to 200 yds

Thanks

Something happened during your hunting trip...?
Would be useful info to know for the rest of us.
Have you thought about the 95 berger vld hunters...

What I am running into is on close shots small hole in, no exit hole , no blood loss and I have lost a couple of deer. This has happened several times now.
On the deer I have recovered all shots are where I put them and on the deer lost I have nothing to show me  I missed.
Was in Alabama this last weekend shot a deer at 90yds , deer was broadside standing still it was with a group of 4 after shot 3 turned and went back into the woods/swamp about 30yds away 1 deer ran to the end of the field 220yds from stand and stopped turned broadside to me and I hit it and dropped dead on the spot small hole in and big hole out.
I bought reloading equipment a while back but started a large remodel project and packed it up , so almost end of deer season here and just finished the remodel so setting the reload bench back up and looking at different bullets and shorter shots
I have had nothing over about 250 so I can look at bullets that work at closer ranges.
I was planning on the 90CX but just looking around and thinking . I know I get into trouble thinking.

When I had this barrel made I was thinking , faster the bullet better the kill but now am wondering about the need for 24" barrel and thinking that ELDX may work better at slower speeds

Nosler Partitions (85gr, 95gr, 100gr) would be my first choice if you can find them.
