What are you using? What is the consensus about the best dies? Crimp or no crimp?
ASC mags and a Faxon barrel if it matters.

1st set of Whidden dies I have purchased, roughly a year ago. Must say I have been very pleased. Went with the click adjustable bushing die set. In my case we are talking bolt action use.

No crimp here.

I’m new to reloading but I picked up a Mighty Armory FL die and a Frankford Arsenal Universal bullet seating die. I’ll probably be loading my first rounds through them in about a month. I’ll try to provide an update for what it’s worth.

I have a L.E. Wilson bushing die set: FL die, Seater & head space gauge. I have .266" & .267" bushings with the .266" bushing currently installed. After sizing & trimming my brass I run them over a PMA Tool .241" expander mandrel for consistent inside neck dimension. I use a RCBS 6mm ARC taper crimp die for a light crimp on my gas gun ammo. No crimp for my bolt gun ammo.

Wilson has expander mandrels as well...
