Barrel Length/Velocity Question

I did a few searches on here and didn't come up with much. Have any of you ever seen a test or chart of velocity differences using the same ammo with barrel lengths from 14"-22"?

Have not seen that test on 6Arc, but the Hornady pdf for factory 108-110 gr loads contains a good table of MV's over varying barrel lengths. Sure it's probably aimed at that bullet weight, but the relative drops and MV relationship will likely hold for other loads too.

There's a table (which I put into an excel sheet) on the Grendel site for MV vs grendel barrels, but it won't 1 for 1 apply to the 6 Arc.

I have never posted here but have shot several thousand rounds of 6ARC. Figure around 25 fps per inch of barrel give or take a few. Not an exact science but that will get you in the ballpark. I have a 20", 22" and two 25" barrels in a 6ARC gasser so can attest the velocity differences.

A load I have for my 16" Lilja (105 RDF over Varget) does 2440. It did 2590 out of a Lilja AR24 (which is actually about 22.5"). The load I developed for the 22.5 with Berger 109 Hybrids and Shooters World Precision did 2540 out of the 22.5 and 2390 out of the 16".
