Man, after reading this article Id expect firearms chambered for this round to sell very well, except. Except Ammo and component shortage may squelch sales. Interesting read on reloading for the 6mm arc in both gas & a bolt gun.

After reading this  be giving the propellant IMR8208 XBR a fair bit more consideration in my bolt action when she is put together

An 18.63 lb bolt gun. That's more than the 24" 6.5 Creedmoor gas gun I use for PRS and my 16" ARC. Combined.

Wow! I missed that, & the 26" barrel length. Nice deer hunting rig Rolleyes NOT - in my..... world.  Thanks for pointing that out. Expect in general the 6.5lb rig Ill be running Ill be very pleased with anything close to .5 MOA. Author mentions the recoil was quite gentle from the nearly 11.5 lb gas gun. I guess the same was true for the stout bolt gun as well Smile

Still very interesting in my book despite the fact I not likely own anything similar to these examples of what a 6mm Arc rifle may offer.

Would you like to take a moment and consider barrel life? https://forum.accurateshooter.com/thread...c.4035773/

Mine lives entirely on handloads.
And all brass converted from 6.5.
Considering how scarce factory ammo and brass are its almost like running a wildcat.

That said, I've had good results with mine.

Had not expected to see 6mm Arc brass for years. Will be looking to give this a go in a drop in barrel for a CZ 527. To my surprise recently a local Big Box farm supply store has had a fair amount of 6ARC ammo in stock. Just very few of us locally that have taken interest in this round yet. With rather little competition for this ammo I accumulated 11 boxes of ammo before saying I have enough.

Still want to play with Lapua 220 russian and 65 grendel brass conversion / fire forming to 6mm arc brass. Still little joy as of yet while I await the completion of my barrel. GRR

I know I'm late on this thread, but I cannot understand why he didn't push Leverevolution up to 29+gr range, how a 115gr RDF was pushed over 2500 fps with RL-15, and how the velocities kept going up as the bullets got heavier.  I found this data to be weird.

The moment you've got it figured, you're wrong.
