Sierra 85hpbt and Lever
#1
Range day data mostly with Lever and the Sierra 85 bthp.
Test number 2 is I took some Factory Hornday black at 2.200 and tested five against five at 2.250 that I uses the bullet puller on to lengthen them.
Test number 3 testing 108 ELDM with Lever to see if I could find the max for my rifle.
All brass showed little signs of over pressure, a few had light ejector swipe but others with more powder did not show any signs.
Primers looked good except the CCI 400's.  The Remington 7 1/2 at the higher powder charges there wasn't primer cratering but the depth of the indention from the firing pin looked like it getting deeper or the primer was stretching.
Question:  What is your max loading for 105-108 bullets and Lever?

Lemonaid,
excellent write up.

I just finished my development for the 6mm ARC on my Bolt Gun (Savage 10).

I am now starting load workup for the Monster 20" Gas Gun.

Did you do break-in and have you seen velocity increase as the number of rounds down the barrel increased. My Savage velocity did not settled down until I reached just over 100 rounds down the barrel.

For break-in I shot 60 rounds of Factory ammo and examined the barrel with a bore scope. As there was a fair amount of copper I cleaned that out and called it broke in.
This was my first use of the Magnetospeed on my 6mm ARC so no idea about if it will increase in speed down the road.
Just getting started but things are looking pretty good.
