Just signed up... yup, another gun forum!
Decided to try something new, and landed on 6mm ARC. Building a gas gun so we'll see how it goes. Fortunately was able to find ammo locally - when I called, guy said yes they had some because they can't get anyone to buy it. So I bought it. Mix of the Precision Hunter and Match, but really just want the brass.
Not gonna be a crazy build, really just using some spare parts I've had, only needed the bolt (JP Enhanced) and a barrel (Odin 18"). Really only going to target shoot to 300 unless I drive hours to the 1000yrd range, maaaaaybe try a caribou hunt with it if I get lucky in the permit draws, altho it'll be hard not to take my 6.5cm
Super curious to load for it... gathering some different bullets to try... hoping the Maker T-rex 85gr does well... I like Maker bullets in my 300blk SBR and 6.5cm
Anyways, looking forward to reloading info and tips... off to that section!
