I have standard srp’s. My question is will they work 
with my loads using 8208 and CFE 223? Just starting to develop 
load for a new build. Not pushing anything too
hard just an accurate and consistent load.

When you say "standard", what brand are they?
What type of rifle, bolt or AR.

Some primers have cups that are relatively thin, and so not recommended for a floating firing pin style the ARs are.

It’s a gas gun. I have CCI 400 
and federal 205. Might have a few

CCI 400 have really thin cups (.020") & are the most likely to ignite due to firing pin inertia in gas guns.

CCI 450s, CCI 41s & CCI BR4s all have thick cups (.025"). Federal GM205Ms (.225") & GM205MARs (unknown thickness but probably the same as GM205Ms) & Remington 7 1/2s (.025") are also good for gas gun ammo.

Winchester SR primers (.021") are only .001" thicker than the CCI 400s so I'd use them with caution.

The "igniting" mentioned by Bob is the old "slam fire" where the round goes off as soon as the bcg hits down on the round after pushing it into chamber. Not a good scenario. It is possible the slam fire is talked about more than seen, but it is not a recommended practice so for the bunch you have, try the 205's. the 450's or 41's should be ok to find, which would be better choices.
