The meplat of the 109s is specifically designed for reduced bullet to bullet variation in BC and long range target shooting. I would assume that the Elite Hunter's meplat is designed for consistent and controlled expansion. At that sort of range, the hunting bullet would likely have more vertical dispersion.
I don't know how much design goes into how well a target bullet will transition through the sound barrier (I always assume there is none). Even if there is an element involved, I would doubt it would be a parameter with a hunting bullet since 1125 or so is well below reliable expansion velocities.
