I have never had a problem losing primers from the pocket. I have brass that has been fired 14 times. I will be scraping it after the next firing as I have already staked the primer pocket once. I don;t do it a second time .
I don't use pin gauges to size them, but use a pocket reamer instead just in case I over do them.
My dad showed me this trick when we were shooting a lot of Creedmore stuff. back then the brass was hard to find a quite expensive. Some rounds are really hard on primer pockets, even some of the pistol rounds like magnums.

If you can not see the tyranny of having a gun ban enforced by men with guns... Then you fail to understand why the second amendment was written in the first place.
