If you keep it in a cool dry place, o... 10-15 yrs or so... heat and humidity are the enemies of powder, primers too I reckon.
Moral of the story is, don't keep it in your garage or attic. On a shelf in the basement is good, if it's a dry basement, if not then suggest you get a dehumidifier.
My bsmt is nice and cool and dry, pretty stable environment.
