I shoot a local 1/4 mile match once a month. A few of the guys are shooting match burners in 6.5 or .308, (I'm the only AR platform so far, and no other 6mm ARCs). Rifles on the line cover the complete gamut from 50 year old hunting rigs to $5,000 custom built rigs with 5R Bartlein barrels. The guys shooting the match burners are not winning. Of course that may be due to other factors? The guys who I consider my competition are all shooting either Bergers, or Sierra SMKs. This is not a high end match, and anyone is welcome. The winner gets a free lunch, (as does anyone who shows up, even spectators
