yes, the accuracy is there. Now some of my Lever handloads, in 90 deg F, things opened up, and it took me a minute to figure that out.
You also get that extra MV being a 22" length bolt action, which is something I wanted to extend the legs of my little 6mm-ers...
It's a "preferred barrels" blank barrel (also Utah), and I also, on the strength of its performance, ordered a 22", 6.5 grendel barrel, a howage, from PB to put onto my howa, which also shoots extremely well. So those barrels for me are a 2 for 2.
The bolt action is, what's the right word, short and tidy on the upswing, the angle of throw is not very much, maybe 50-60 deg. The bolt face slides into the chamber but you need to be just a touch firm about finishing that bolt to the lock up. It's all their proprietary design. But it works well, no complaints on it.
I use 6.5 G duramags but take off about 0.120" down the front edge for better cycling (written up elsewhere on here). I do that for all my 6Arc mags. Plus I cut 1, or maybe 2 (your preference) coils off the bottom of the mag-spring to make it easier on the cycle/feeding. Again, would probably do that for any 6Arc bolt action. The mags give me up to 2.285 or so OAL possibility, which is plenty for me. I label them as -1 or -2 in order to keep them straight... since I also have duramags for my Grendels.
One thing extra I did however is to order some of their small bolt-pieces/parts, firing pin, etc, since you can't get them from joebob or brownies... not that I've had to use any, but wanted to have some of them in the spare parts bin just in case.
O yeah, one more small thing, at extraction time you need to be firm+positive, I'm not in the habit of such firmness (don't want to fling any brass at my shooting range) so some of my fired cases just plop in on top of the mag -- be real positive about the extract motion. Maybe their extraction spring isn't the strongest, who knows. But again, I tend to be a deliberate shooter, so I can fiddle with the empty case if I need to.
If I needed another barrel, I wouldn't hesitate with these guys at all. And if I had the coin, I might get another uintah upper.... their price went up shortly after I ordered.... thanks to Joe and Kamal-laff.
