I figure most anything I want to shoot with the 6mmARC will be DRT with properly placed 90 to 103gr bullets. I know of a prairie dog village where some of those light Hornady V-MAX pellets would be ideal. I think reloading for the 6mm ARC is gonna be fun. Thanks for everyone's replies.
I'm was working on a ladder with 70 grain NBTVs with XBR when my range session got cut short last week. I had them up to 3016 at 29.2 grains with a full grain to go out of my 18" 243 LBC and groups were tightening and SDs were falling. I probably have 100fps to go but don't think the sweet spot will be that high. In comparison, I have them doing 2990 out of my 24" 6x45 with Benchmark. I'd be trying benchmark instead of XBR but I'm out of it. FWIW, Shooters Pro Shop always seems to have plenty of the 55 gr NBTVs in stock along with Varmageddons which are completely interchangeable for a given load with the NBTVs.
