I've had my Gen 2 for a bit now, and it is experiencing sporadic ejection issues. There isn't any rhyme or reason to it. It will sometimes eject flawlessly, and then the empty case will just drop in the breech.
The bolt face diameter measures .454", which I don't know is good or bad? I called Ruger customer service and they wouldn't give me the specified dimension. They are sending me a new extractor, spring, and detent ball. Hopefully this will fix it, but if it doesn't I reckon I will be sending it in.
It also has issues feeding the last round in the magazine. I will update once the new parts are installed.
If anyone with a 6 arc bolt gun wants to measure the bolt face diameter and PM me, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the info. Rugers in grendel and 6 Arc, for me, have always seemed to have trouble mostly feeding, but sometimes the extraction. I could not get the AR mags to reliably, repeatably, seat and feed from. Rounds would jam by hitting the top of the chamber entrance above the chamber. The guns would have more trouble with the shorter OAL type rounds; if you were doing a 2.260-ish they did better but had to feed smartly. IMO, their action's design, with that big jump from in front of the lug-space, to the chamber (the gap that accommodates the bolt lugs) is just too big of a chasm for a short OAL cartridge to handle. 308-style lengths do much better. Now others have said they were able to overcome this, but I've pretty much decided that the ruger americans in these short cartridges, I'll pass on. I do have some 308-length Americans, both gen 1 and 2, and they work fine.
Not trying to talk you out of it, just sayin'.

Man, I get it. I am thinking I should have gotten the Howa Mini Action instead.
My Gen 2 feeds fine until the last round in the mag. That one just doesn't go smoothly at all. This won't likely be an issue hunting. There has only been. On time in my life I've unloaded 5 rounds from a bolt gun.
But the ejection is an issue. I'm not very confident the new extractor parts are going to do anything. I took my extractor out and looked it over closely. Seems to me everything is proper. I'm thinking the bolt face may be a little big letting the hull out of it before it should be.

At .454", the inside diameter of your bolt face could be a little over-sized. Having never owned or even handled a Ruger American in 6.5Grendel/6 ARC, I can't say for sure it's an issue. My 6.5 Grendel Howa mini bolt face is right on .450" & it chambers & extracts as slick as can be. I did change my polymer trigger guard for Jefferson Outdoors hinged floorplate bottom metal which was a major improvement in round cycling.

I think you may be correct on the bolt face. .014" seems like a lot of wiggle room.
Seeing the hinged floor plate for the Howa Mini makes me want one even more.
