https://www.midwayusa.com/product/101091179?pid=112183 They have others though pricing on this one caught my eye. I ordered 400 last weekend without free shipping & they showed up today. Look good to me so I ordered more with the free shipping option this morning. not sure if this works for others though you may try this code freeship020222

I shot a 5 round group with the Hornady 100gr BTSP that measured just over .3 and four were in a hole measuring .107. 29gr of CFE 223 with a .015 jump was the load in fire formed Hornady brass with the shoulder set back .002.

Good shooting! Would I be wrong to assume this 5 shot group was shot from the Savage 110? If so how are those SP bullets feeding from the mag?

CZ yes the 110 with the 308 AICS mag. by MDT. No issues with the soft lead point but mostly I single load on the bench.

Report on the Hornady factory 2nds 100gr BTSP from Midway. After weighing and measuring I find they are over 100gr @ 100.3gr to 100.4gr and they measure .2434. I measured the same bullet from Hornady and it weighed 99.9gr and was .2430 using a micrometer. These bullets might need to be loaded differently as there could possibly be variances in pressure.

Fired the Hornady 100gr btsp 2nds from midway.
30gr W760 in unfired brass. ES .700 @ 2550 fps. (5 rnds) Did this to fireform some brass and did not expect such a good group with new brass. |
