Gotta Give Hornady Credit

Since “Free Bullets” is back at Hornady, I picked up a set of dies for a future addition to my collection. For my free bullets I chose the Hornady 100gr BTSP #2453. They shipped the bullets in a plastic bag inside of a padded envelope. During shipment the envelope was damaged, and I lost 1 bullet. I wrote to Hornady advising that they re-assess shipping a small quantity of bullets in a padded envelope. I also mentioned that it wasn’t cost effective to send a single bullet, and my email was merely to alert them if the issue.

Their immediate response was to send a new shipment of #2453 in a box.

Pretty sweet.

You can buy Hornady dies at any retailer, as well as other Hornady products. Depending on the item purchased, you can get 100 bullets from a select list, or 500 bullets for big items, such as a new press.
It’s their “Get Loaded” promotion. I’ve picked up well over 1,000 free bullets over the past 5 years.
They discontinued the program for 2021 and 2022, but it’s back for 2023.
