Optic choices

Good morning All, so I’m having CMMG making me the Resolute Mk4 AR with a 16.1” barrel.  I need some guidance about choosing the right long range scope and rings to be able to go out between 500-1000 yards.  I will also be hand loading specific rounds custom.  I am weak on choosing the best scope for this set up.  I need your experience with this please.  Willing to spend up to 2k.  Thank you for Your input.

Welcome to the forum.
Lots of experience here, so you will probably get a lot of ideas.
What scopes have you looked through?
A person's eyes are one of a kind, so one person's scope may not work for another's.
Still, for scopes up to ~$1K I can speak a bit, more expensive ones, not so much.
I went through several models but the vortex lines have been my winners, out to 1000 yds.
So I'd say look at the pst's, maybe 6-24X, there are some gen 1's but most are gen 2 or maybe 3 nowadays. If your budget wants to go over $1000 then look at the razor.
Stay at 30mm tubes or maybe 34 if you don't mind the weight. Not the 1".
I have several 6-24, gen 1's, a 3-15 gen 2 pst and even a venom 34mm.

Late to the game but here is what I use and where I am going for my next one:

I have the following scopes on various rifles I shoot regularly:
Vortex viper gen 1 6-24 on 6 Arc gasser great glass at a good price. Gen 1 lacks travel.
Vortex viper gen 2 4-16 on 6.5 prc better than gen 1 in travel and clarity. Great glass.
Night Force Atacr 7-35 on 300 Norma. Simply amazing glass. I’ve never looked through better. I can spot my hits on steel at 1,600 yards.

I currently need a new scope for my GA Precision 6.5c and for the 6 arc gasser.

First scope I am buying is the Arken ep5 5-25. The second scope I am going to buy is the Night Force NX8 4-32. Both are well within your range and the Arken leaves you enough to buy a bunch of Alpha brass.

Good luck

Which guns those two scopes will land on will depend on how I like them for my purposes.

I ordered the Arken EP5 5-25 today. Hope it doesn’t take long to get here.
