Very nice! Tell us about the setup you used and shot distances. We would love to hear about it.

Doe was at a little over 200yds, buck at about 190. Both with factory 103 eldx I'm trying to use up.
I have my rifle almost the way I want it . CZ527 , 24" pac-nor match barrel,EC tuner, bedded stock, Lepould 3x15 scope. trigger has had work and bolt handle was changed with larger knob. Everything works great but still playing with tuner shoots .76 as is .
I am thinking about cutting 2" off barrel but may not . I shoot out of blinds and have trouble with mobility and getting a rifle as long as mine up and out the blind window is a little involved .

The doe was all the way thru and went down where shot . The buck went straight down one shot but the round was just under the skin on opposite side.
Can't complain both deer straight down not sure I can get better. I did not recover either bullet

Excellent! The factory 103 eldx load is no slouch! We shot it at 1,000 a couple weeks ago and it performed extremely well. Perhaps next year I will use that load on a buck.

I get your issue with the 24” barrel. I took my 300nm out for a cow elk hunt. Because I don’t have use of my left arm I have a handicap tag and can hunt our property from the truck. Let’s just say the 30” 300nm was a cluster. I went back a week later with a 6.5 PRC and walked in to get a cow.

Now I want a 20” 300 wsm….
