I have about 80, 5-times fired 6mm ARC Hornady cases.

I do not anneal, so my neck tensioning on these cases is poor.

Let me know if you want them at no charge.
I just hate the idea of throwing them away.

Drill a hole through the some of the cases, leave in the last fired primer & install a factory second blem bullet with a heavy crimp. It's better if the bullet has a cannelure you can crimp deeply into. Use them for either action proving dummies or for checking magazine function.

If you load it and press the bullet tip against your bench and the bullet doesn't move, its absolutely fine for practice work. I wouldn't use it for a match or hunting, though.

Once it is indeed spent, throw it in a bucket in the corner of your garage and take it to the metal scrap yard once its filled. That metal is worth cash.

Ray, I d take the time to anneal them, trim, etc if the primer pockets still hold a primer.

Let me know and I could give you my mailing address.

Were they shot in bolt or gas gun? F/L sized or neck sized?
Thx

The pockets have consistently held the primers.
My first reloads were full case sized, after that I neck sized only.
They were fired in a bolt gun - a Savage Axis II w/22" barrel.
I loaded with 26.8 grains of RL-15 (my most accurate load).
COAL = 2.220" using a Hornady 105 grain HP bullet.
I tried to duplicate the commercial 105 grain Hornady 6mm ARC ammo dimensions.
I used CCI 400 primers.
I didn't measure my velocities, but used "QuickLoad" software to estimate them:
MV ~ 2607 fps, ME ~ 1584 ft.-lb.'s.

I will be happy to send them to you if you feel you can use them.

I haven't received your PM and can't find any PM's.
Am I doing something wrong?

PMs ("Private Messages") are in the header at the top of the web page, on the same line as "Log out -->".
