Thanks, John. This is the first source of data I've seen for the ARC out of less than a 16" barrel. I'd like to have seen their velocity at 14.5". As I said over on the Grendel Forum about the ARC; "Can you say RECCE?"

I think this article is gonna sell a lot of Monster 12" barrels  

P.S. They absolutely put the correct scope on that build. For precision at 800 yards I think you need a 10x.

I agree w/ biodsl. I’ve been vacillating on the 12-12.5 idea. Hornady speaks well of the ARC in shorter barrels, but having a non-Hornady report on short barrels lends more credibility to the claims. I’ll ante up for the Monster barrel when they show up.
