I'm guessing it's largely targeted at PRS Production class where it needs to be a factory rifle with a max $2k MSRP. Was a bit of a head scratcher at first that they'd offer ARC, but it makes sense. There's no real factory ammo for anything below 6 CM (BR, Dasher, etc.), while ARC should ostensibly have affordable match ammo when the market "normalizes", plus a much longer barrel life than 6CM. And remember, Mr. Eagle Eye says 6 ARC is better than 6 BR.
