90 grain copper Nosler

Recently purchased 250 ct from American Reloading. Measured the oal for my rifle at 2.300 

Was planning to try LVR and TAC 

TAC MAX at 28.8

LVR max at 32

Using savage bolt gun 1:7.5 twist

Anyone using this bullet and powder combo?

Frontline rejects offer a video on how these perform at distance. 6mm ARC appears to be OK for closer in work. Lyman 51st edition offers load data for these all copper bullets. They indicate PowerProVarmint was there accuracy powder.  Start load is 24.5 grains . So start low & work up. Suggested max load for gas gun 27.5 grains. from there 24" barrel they were seeing 2444 fps & 2734 respectivly.

As for bolt gun data, They indicate  PowerProVarmint is the accuracy powder again for them in their 24" test barrel. Start load here is 27.5 grains & max bolt gun load is listed as 29.5 grains of the PPV. your firearm may be diffrent Your lot of powder may be diffrent & same for bullets & primers I suppose. Whatever the usual, start low & work up applies as always. Velocities from their t4" barrel was 2734 & 2877 fps respectivly.
