Meet the newest member of the family!

Still waiting on a couple of parts for the lower, but with the arrival of the barrel yesterday I couldn't resist any longer.

It's a Anderson upper, forward assist and dust cover parts are AR15 discount's NBS, 20" CMMG SBN barrel, Tri-fecta QD flash hider, Black Rilfle Parts bolt and the bolt carrier can't remember (old age i guess).  The optic is a Nikon 3-9x50 prostaff in Nikon P22 mounts.

Right now its hung on a bushy lower with RA-140 trigger and ambi safety, but it gets me shooting!

So I decided on a Proof Research Barrel in all Stainless Steel, for the price and it being Cut Rifled. I think you will have a hard time beating it. But only time will tell 100% I'm going with the 18” +1 rifle gas 1/7.5 twist. I'll order it but it's gonna take about 12 weeks (boo) so it’ll give me time to get me some parts gathered.

...of 6mm as a military rifle caliber. Looking forward to more news of military use of 6mm ARC.

Also hoping that Hornady will develop and market a sweet FMJ load in this caliber before I die. 

Saw this afternoon on the Hornady load app that they have released limited load data for the 6ARC.  Data is for the 108 eld-m and 110 a-tip.  They also included velocities for max charge weights of several powders for different barrel lengths.

It’s not complete but at least it’s a start.

I have scoured the Internet for in-stock barrels and cannot find one. Anybody got any leads on in-stock 22" 1:7.5 twist 416R stainless barrels?

I called Hornady on 6-30-2020 and asked when they were going to start shipping arc brass since I’ve had brass on back order at Midsouth since a day after it was announced.

The nice lady at Hornady told me they were still 30-60 days out before shipping.  Anybody heard anything different?  Trying to figure out my next purchase since I will only have 60 pieces from the 3 boxes of 105’s I was able to get.

I’m open to all ideas, I know it will be awhile before the market catches up.
