New build

The build parameters for this gun were very specific. To be the most accurate I could build for our biweekly 600 yd shoot. It is not light but it doesn’t need to be. This is expected to be sub moa, hopefully 1/2moa, from 600-1,000 yards.

Very nice build! I have never had a barrel from Craddock, especially a Bartlein, that wouldn’t shoot. In for the range report.

Thanks, waiting myself. Dealing with the aftermath of a surgery. As soon as pain levels allow I will go shoot.

Finally got some shooting in. Still learning to shoot with one good arm and 1/2 an arm post surgery.

First groups:
108 eldm factory(I felt pretty loose on this group)

105 bthp factory

I noticed a couple groups would stack 3 in one hole so focused on building a solid base for the last group. It paid off as seen above. Can’t wait to see what it’ll do with my handloads.

Up to 60 rounds of factory down the tube. Last session saw some promising results with the 108 eldm load. First 3 rounds go into one hole and then I have a flier or two. One of the flier I called but the others were a mystery. Could be me or I am wondering if it could be a magazine issue. I’m using 10 round elanders.

Got out to foul the bore before tomorrow’s shoot. No ccb shift. Also loaded 8 instead of 5 to see if that contributed to the fliers. This is shots 1-5 from ccb with factory 108eldm.

108 eldm factory. 600 yds fighting suppressor mirage and swirling wind. I’m happy.

Well, 1 hit in 9 shots at 1000. Ran out of elevation so held 16moa. Wind hold 8 moa. Spotting misses impossible due to wet ground. I need a 20 moa mount. The little 6 arc keeps impressing me.
