PSA 6mm ARC Sabre Rifle

Cross posted at the Grendel Forum.

PSA is putting a lot of proprietary design into a new 6ARC rifle. This includes a non-standard mag well to accept a dedicated 6x38 Pmag. Exciting stuff.

I see that they are using a larger diameter bolt and different barrel extension as well.

So the only Mag that will work in their rifle is the 1 they make? if so not so exciting, I like to have choices and that's why I decided to go with a AR style upper. It might not work out well for me but I am not sure I would go with a bolt rifle for the 6 arc. time will tell.

I have both bolt and AR platform in 6ARC.  I’m fine with the steel mags that I have for the AR since mine is a range toy and hunting rifle with no need for large capacity.

I prefer steel mags also, I do see the use of more than 10 rounds though, mine will also be a range toy and a hunting rifle, I would like a flush mount so probably loose close to 5 rounds.

No, the only mag it will accept is the 6x38 PMag.
