I'm putting together a 6arc upper. San tan tactical receiver and a 15" diamond head vrs handguard. 21" odin works barrel

For now I'm going to put a swfa ss 10-42 and need a mount, a cantilever is definitely needed. I like the aero mount for the money but that swfa is a pretty heavy scope so a mount with more meat maybe a good idea.

 Anyone got any ideas.

My 21" 6 arc odin should be on its way to me, I've seen some guys with the 18" and looks promising . Didn't think I've seen anyone with a 21" yet.

 I've heard odin uses mcgowen blanks, I've seen good accuracy with there barrels.

so anyone got a odin 6arc. I lucked out I was able I get dealer pick on the barrel and bolt.

I'm new here, I should be getting my barrel from Odin works soon. I went with the 21" I figured this will be my bench gun and if I like the arc build a nice light cz 527 or equivalent.

    Finally got my dies and brass, so I worked up 10 rounds with 25 grains of H4895 parked under Hornady 108 grain ELD Match bullets and CCI 450 primers and was most pleasantly surprised at the results.  I was only shooting at 50 yards, since this was supposed to be a fire forming exercise.  First round was a bit left and high, did a scope adjustment, the other 9 went into one ragged hole.  I'm thinking it's ladder time with this combination!

Just got order confirmation for some 6mm arc brass from Graf’s and sons.  Don’t know how much of it they have but the order went through.

I have several pounds of VV 135 that I have been using for my 6PPC.  I have not seen it listed as a powder option for the ARC and want to know if any of you have used it, particularly in the lighter weight, below 80 grain, bullets yet?  If none of you have, is there any reason to believe it cannot/should not be used?

I know in the grendel you can fire form 7.62x39 with the only difference being large primer and internal case complicity slightly changed.

Any chance im making a mistake by trying this with the arc??

This fella has dived in deep. He has a Savage 110 and Howa Mini with X-Caliber barrels that it appears he plans to use in PRS competition. If I have this correct, the Savage's running a 7.7 twist and the Howa a 7. Factory 108 ELDM ammo is running over 2800 fps out of his 26.5 inch barrels.

Thanks to Gtscotty on our big brother forum (65Grrr), he posted Hornady's 6mm ARC bolt gun data.  Which has the expected disclaimer re: AR rifles so pay attention.
