Just bot a Howa 1500 in 6mm ARC. Im a bit disappointed.  The chassis on it is cheap plastic and really needs to be replaced. So, Im planning on purchasing an aftermarket chassis. I was considering this MDT https://mdttac.com/lss-xl-gen2-chassis-system any other good choices? 

In addition to the stock chassis being low quality, the magazines do not seem particularly good. Im assuming that the mag below will fit the LSS-XL gen2 chassis, right?

Th description says the mag is for short action, but the 6mm ARC is the mini action! Im confused ?

The 6ppc set the gold standard for short range benchrest. But if you look at the 6mm arc or the 6mm max , both of these will easily exceed 3000 fps with a 68, 70, 75 gr projectile. Will a heavier projectile with a higher BC set the new gold standard? A flat base 90 or 95 gr or heavier in a benchrest platform? What’s your thoughts..

Been looking for some load development info for the Barnes 112Gr. Matchburner. G1 BC .624
Ar15 platform 20" Ballistic Advantage 1-7 barrel. Loaded to mag length max. 
Most of what I have loaded is in the 90-108gr range and using LVR, TAC, and Varget.
Shooter's reference has some loads for 110gr. AMax, just thought I would be a troll and see if anyone has experimented with them.

For those that load Hammer bullets. When shooting the 87gr AH does it matter if you crimp or not . 
In my bolt gun, with the AH having less friction would there be a chance of the bullet moving with out a crimp ?

I just started playing around with the 6 mm arc. I’m trying to expand my knowledge on this and what the rest of the world is experiencing. 
Do you have any favorite You Tube channels or similar sites that have trusted information? Currently I enjoy Ultimate Reloader and Johnnys Reloading Bench. How about you?

Over the weekend I loaded up some Berger 90 gr. boat tails behind Lever evolution. It was a max load of 30.6 and the results were consistent sub MOA at 100yds. I was only testing so I didn’t have a chance to shoot at longer distances. Have you tried this combination before? What results did you get?

Was comparing load data for pressure limits for the following cartridges. When weighing in the age old 6mm ppc sane loads I am considering Hornady upper limits for Bolt guns may be a bit extreme. A additional reason for the consideration is primer pocket life on upper end bolt action loads.

On the other hand 6.5 grendel bolt action load data may be a bit overly conservative by some folks views.

Hornady has announced a new line of bullets that have a sleek, target profile shape but a light-weight like a varmint bullet. They call them Extremely Low Drag-Varmint/Target (ELD-VT). Hornady promo video HERE. 

In 6mm, they've got an 80-grain. Hornady website HERE.

These "light for length" bullets seem pretty cool.

Got a chance to go Hog hunting in Nov. So.   I have 103 ELDX factory and I have 90gr GMX/CX Hornady loads .

Any one done hogs with a bolt 6 arc ?
