got linked to this forum from SH, and just got done building my first 6 arc upper. Unfortunately running into some issues with it, so hoping I can bounce some ideas off off the members here and figure it out.

Which is best 

BR4 ,CCI 400 ,  CCI 450 or something else ?



I currently have 200 cci 400 O.E.M my local reload store sold me and 200 Federal  Champion 205 that I got after seeing them on Hornady load data for 6arc bolt gun.
But am ready to buy for the future thinking they will last so I should get and use just one for consistency .

Does anyone have experience with SixFive 6mm ARC barrels? I'm looking for a reacement for a BA 18"? I see they have affordable options but haven't found much else about them. Thanks In advance for input. With so many people pointing to Proof and other big names. I get a bit hesitant when I see a barrel for $170.

Looking at the howa mini 6mm arc.  What are the pros and cons of the 22 or 20 inch barrels? Thanks in advance.

This was found to be a hidden treasure in my 243 years ago as a reduced loading. Thinking back probably a bit slower then the ARC should muster. 

Then the Sierra 85 that I always found a bit more fragile but eeked out better accuracy.

Good evening from South Central PA! 
I'm new to the forum and just getting into the 6 ARC world. Main rig is 18" Wilson Combat in an Aero M4E1 receiver set with Vortex 3-18 x 44 glass.

When I started with the 6arc, I wanted to limit myself to 300yds or less and move to all copper style bullets (CX,GMX, Hammer ). At the time I was going up to fund raising hunts in Alabama that had a lot of less than 300yd shots. Now I have settled down to one guy in Alabama that has a lot more open area and longer shots (out to 500yds)
On Paper the CX style bullets lose power fast after 300 and don't appear to be the best for longer range.
I'm looking at the Hornady 103ELDX Factory loads , used them this year and was happy with them even though box stated 2800 and the ones I shot were more in the 2750 range. They did a good job and with reloading seem to have room to improve. 
What other bullets have you guys used that would work well for what I'm doing?

Just joined tonight. Looking for ARC information. 

Im a long time reloader. I load for many calibers. I also cast my own bullets. ( Probably not for the ARC. But I do have 6mm molds.  ) 

I will be ordering a Howa Mini Barreled action in 6ARC very soon. 

Ordered my dies & 100 pcs Starline Brass tonight. 

I have another Howa Mini in Grendel thats a favorite rifle. Thought about s second Grendel, but noticed ARC was offered been watching ARC video's for last few days. 

BTW Im Cwlongshot on all forums and uTube. ( I have a small gun channel)

My local handloading store had an eight pound jug of AR Comp. Needless to say I snatched it up along with some 87 Vmax.
   

If I loaded resized brass do I start over when I move to 6arc brass ?
