Preferred propellants for the 6mm Arc? |

For me I am thinking 80 to 90 grain all copper bullets. For standard cup & core bullets the 100 grain offerings up to 108 grain hunting bullets are what is on my plate. While I favor bolt action 6mm ARC applications, lets hear thoughts on preferred propellants for both bolt action & semi auto applications.
One powder I have heard very little about that I have been expecting more from would be Accurate 2520. Personally I have shied away from 2520 due to limited supply. Really like to hear about your experiences with this & other propellants with hunting bullets.

UltraSlim Crush Washer R&D |

Guys, I'm testing an UltraSlim Crush Washer to mate with our Alpha, Bravo, and Delta line of UltraSlim muzzle devices so that they can be timed.
Got three stainless steel metal 3D-printed prototypes — suckers cost $50 each! — of my UltraSlim crush washer design and am testing its installation. Results, so far, are mixed. Have gotten 90° rotation, but the outside diameter (OD) enlarged such that I can't slip a standard .750 gas block on and off — which was one of the goals. Also, I thought the torque force required for this smaller washer would be less, but it stills seems like I'm cranking it a lot toward the end.
Trying to decide whether pursuing this UltraSlim crush washer is the best method or whether I should pursue UltraSlim sets of super thin shim washers.
Some say crush washers can induce cant to your muzzle device, causing inaccuracy and potential strikes (if using with longer devices like suppressors), and that they're not reusable like shims when one wants to remove for cleaning. Others say shims are too fiddly.
Attached photos show the three stainless UltraSlim crush washer prototypes and a standard 5/8 crush washer (Yankee Hill).
Anyway, what you guys think? Crush washer or shim set? Pros and cons?

Each Friday night after work, Boudreaux and Thibodeaux would fire up their outdoor grill and cook a venison steak. But, all of Boudreaux and Thibodeaux's neighbors were Catholic.
And since it was Lent, they were forbidden from eating meat on Friday. The delicious aroma from the grilled venison steaks was causing such a problem for the Catholic faithful that they finally went and talked to their priest.
The Priest came to visit Boudreaux and Thibodeaux, and suggested that they should become Catholic. After several classes and much study, Boudreaux and Thibodeaux attended Mass. As the priest sprinkled holy water over them, he said, "You were born a Baptist, and raised a Baptist, but now you two are Catholic my children."
Boudreaux and Thibodeaux's neighbors were greatly relieved, until Friday night arrived, and again, the wonderful aroma of grilled venison filled the neighborhood.
The Priest was called immediately by the neighbors, and, as he rushed into Boudreaux and Thibodeaux's yard, clutching a rosary and prepared to scold them, he stopped and watched in amazement.
There stood Boudreaux and Thibodeaux both clutching a small bottle of holy water which they carefully sprinkled over the grilling meat and chanted: "You wuz born a deer, you wuz raised a deer, but now you is a catfish."

Thanks for letting an old guy in , so I get edjimicated I’ve been cast reloading and shooting for 45 yrs . I’ve built a 24” 6 arc gasser and I would really like to put a 12-14” gasser together , but no joy on finding a barrel . I was hoping to find one at sixfive a monster barrel but they are out of shorties it seems . Hoping to contact them and see when they might be expecting some more . Anybody else no of a shorty barrel for under $250.00 . I don’t wanna go full custom on a toy right now money is tight .
Thanks for the add and I look forward to learning more .

I am looking to upgrade the factory barrel on my ATI and want something to give a little better velocity. Would you reccomend the SixFive 20" or a Shaw 22" for both velocity and accuracy? I handload so the only factory ammo I will be using is to get more brass
