Just like the title says would a 24 inch barrel with a stock rifle length gas system be a mistake?  Not a plus 1 or 2.  Would be exclusive for competition.....

For those of you who have this rifle, what kind of groups are you getting with factory ammo?

Mine shoots the Hornady Black under an inch, but doesn't like the ELD-X worth a crap.

I want to take a min and say thanks to the 6arc forum and some of you guys on it. I picked 6arc on a whim to rebarrel my cz and am glad I did. Plus finding this forum and picking up reloading has given me a great hobby to transition to from Bass Fishing . In terms of enjoyment it has already paid for itself. 
Tournament fishing has always been my life but the last couple of years have taken a toll on me . Reloading and time spent researching are low impact and mentally rewarding . Time at the range is enjoyable and not extreme . I have found something that I can do at my pace and hopefully for a long time.

And I get tasty meat for the freezer , What can be better than that.

How many brass casing do you guys go thru in a year ?

I have been watching the posts on brass and got to wondering how much brass do you guys go thru ? I got into reloading to have a different hunting round for my 6ARC but if I never shoot any of my other rifles for target practice but the 6arc AND only use it for all hunting never using my 6.5CM and  depending on number of times I can use the same brass , I have enough for  10 years. At 71 with a bad heart that could be a life time 

My only concern at this time is powder and I have been told powder in a cool dry place  can last 10 years so if true 2 8lb cans of powder, 3 packs of 1,000 primers, 2400 bullets and 600 brass casings will last me my lifetime +/- a little, any more will just get handed down to whoever gets my cz.

Do any of you figure lifetime use ?

Starline is backordering  6ARC brass as o this morning .

As a hunter and fun target guy , How much difference does the brass make ?

I have 6.5 resized, once fired Hornady and now some 6arc  Starline, How will that affect how I do down range on a deer ?

Will a load worked up in one work for the others ? Do I need to pick one and as the others wear out go down to one brand ?

Fed 205 primers vs rem 7.5 vs BR4's in the 6mm ARC? Fed 205 primers is the one I am lacking. Kinda wishing to find someone looking to trade primers for brass locally. Good luck with that in South Dakota.

Get those stubborn roll pins started without bending your expensive seater punches. Our REXUS brand Starter Punch seats 5/64 gas-block roll pins (plus another part) using one end and 1/16 ejector pins (plus three other parts) with the other. Simple and smart!
