Got a chance to hunt South Carolina . My 6arc did very well.

       

A little PSA for tinkerers that like to load for fun's sake. I just noticed Hammer released them.  I'm not sure there's any practical use for them, but I'll probably grab one of their little 15 packs just for some giggles.  I kinda wish I could buy powder in a little sample pack    I don't think I have anything in the right burn rate for something like this.

I just received my new Hornady Aero Match bullets, so if anyone interested in the comparison between the Sierra and Berger. I will do some testing this weekend and see how they do. I know Hornady claims we can use the same data, but what about seating depth. I'm going to try the same depth (CBTO) that I use with the 105 Bergers and 107 Sierra.

Picked up a new Ruger Ranch rifle today in 6mm ARC.  I've been looking at this caliber for past year and found this one today.  Picked up some Starline brass, Hornady dies, Berger 105 VLD-Hunter as well as 90-grain Sierra Gamechangers.  I loaded up some of the Sierras with Hornady BLC-2 and will try to get out to the range tomorrow to see how the shoot.  I will mainly deer hunt and pig hunt with this gun, and of course, will be shooting it with a suppressor.

Just got around to playing with my new Garmin Xero C1 Pro shot 30 rounds of Factory Hornady 103eldx .
Had

Had 6 at or over 2800 fastest at 2826 and slowest was 2699


Honestly I was expecting better than this. 

Anyone else had experience with the factory 103's

I need a way to keep my 6mm ARC brass from disappearing when it ejects from my AR-15.  What's a good solution?  I see many brass catchers for sale but I don't know which ones work best.

Jefferson hinged floorplates are showing available.  Better jump on one while you can.

After getting the rifle a little more sorted out, I was able to win my first match with it. This is a monthly, (may through October), match at my local club shot from the bench at 440 yards. Five sighters, then three 10 shot strings which are scored individually allowing for sight adjustments between strings.  Not a great target, but it was enough to win on that day. The two in the 8 ring are all me.

I picked up this rifle on an impulse buy and have been blown away by the accuracy. 
That said, I really don’t like the look of the plastic stock. I’d like to see if I can get a replacement but wanted advice due to the number of variants Savage has made in the 110. Can anyone tell me if a “standard” replacement stock for a 110 will work with the factory magazine?
