Looking for get a 16" grendel barrel so letting the 12" Arc go.  Just not going to get into ARC as soon as I thought and I'm loaded up with Grendel ammo already.  brand new didn't even come out of the packaging.  Would be more than willing to trade for a decent 16" grendel barrel! 

I'd be willing to split with my 12" monster grendel barrel as well if someone has a lead on a good 16" barrel.  I really just want to get one rifle over 16" at the house that I can use my non SBR'd lower on.  May end up ordering a criterion from PF but who knows.

Finished my 6ARC build and will keep a log of results.  

The build was inspired by “KB32 Tactical” You-Tube channel build back a year ago which was almost fully finished but missed match use.  It took about 6 months for JP to build receiver set for me and I assembled last week, checked and tested.

Build
Reasonably straightforward with Thermal fit of barrel being easy thanks to some tips from JP.  The only problem I ran into was checking the headspace as Go/No Go gauges were not readily available.  I rented them from the guys at 4D.  Problem solved.

Adjust/Zero/Test
I have a Bolt action MPA PMR Pro in 6.5 Creedmoor which is a tack driver.  However this Build is sheer awesomeness.  I ran (thanks KB32) 105 grain BTHP (Hornady Black) for the session.  

I did have an issue with double feed on magazines occurring after first 2 rounds or so.  This is a known issue it seems with the ASC magazines which was eliminated quicker by some light filing to smooth the feed lips and use of Lucas Spray Mist. 

After adjusting gas block, zeroing scope and getting a few “get to know you” time I went to test confirm on consistent 3-shot group sizes.  It was getting later in the day but all were around the 0.5 MOA at 100 yards.

If and when I manage to find small rifle primers I’ll post reload results. 

For the moment I will keep running the Hornady Black 105 ammo and collect the brass. This seems to be fine, although I do notice some of the lots are different (primers).

I’m selling a brand new, unfired 6mm ARC package. The barrel is a Criterion 18” HBAR, 5 fluted, 1-7.5 twist with a rifle length gas tube and SA gas block. The bcg is a cryptic coatings 6.5 Grendel type 2 that was matched with the barrel when it was made. I have 2-30rd E-lander mags and 2-10rd E-Lander mags and 200rds of Hornady 108gr Match ammo.  This setup was over $1500 and took 16 weeks to get, willing to sell for $1350. did some range testing today with my Sig p365xl VS my Sprinfield Hellcat , targets are 6 inch pasters @ 25y shot rapid fire .
the 365xl deffinatly more controllable though i have alot more time/rounds downrange with the sig then i do the hellcat , given some more time with the hell cat i think i could control the snap a lil better, along with getting more used to the u-dot sights on the hellcat vs the more usual 3 dot on the sig

Anyone here tried these 108 GR Elite Hunters out yet? I picked up a few boxes in the past few months & have fairly high hopes for accuracy and velocity from a couple bolt actions with a 22" barrel. Hope to have a Savage Axis in hand this next week. Hopefully not long after that Ill be seeing a drop in 6mm Arc barrel show up for a CZ527. Getting a little anxious now.
