Hey guys,

Has anyone tried these heavy 115gr Berger VLDs in the ARC yet? I picked up a box at my LGS because he had them, and at a reasonable price for Berger bullets.
I dropped Berger an email Thursday, but figure it will take a week or two if I hear back from them. So if anyone has any load data I would love to hear what your thinking.

Anyone using H380?

Its right next to LVR on every burn rate chart I can find.

I've got some and no lvr, so I'm looking around to see what I to I can dig up before I start thinking about ladder steps and charge weights for testing.

Bullets to be tested:
100gr hornady BTSP
103gr ELDX
107gr SMK
110gr SMK

Might order some 103gr bison Claymore's eventually too.

Built by Defiance Machine, so it is probably a quality rifle.

Definitely has caught my attention, I think I am going to do some homework and check this out. It has all the features that I was originally looking for in a bolt action 6 ARC.

As of right now shoot center.com has cci 450 primers in stock in the 5k case if you are willing to pay $200.00 a brick ($1000.00 a case)

Was testing out some soft points tonight at 100 yards.  Shot a nice .5 group but on my 4th round the round didn't chamber.  Was able to open it up and the ejector fell out the bottom of the gun along with the ejector spring. 

I probably only have 100 rounds through this gun.  I think this was a bolt assembly issue not an ammo issue.  Thoughts?

Has anyone had capacity issues with the ASC mags? I bought 3 of their 10 rounders for my ARC. Could only get 5 rounds in the first mag, opened the second and it was the same. I was so frustrated at that point I haven’t even tried the third one. Sent an email to ASC and still haven’t heard from them. Anyone else experience a similar issue?
