Yesterday I got my first boxes of 6mmARC ammo — two boxes of Hornady Black loaded with 6mm 105-grain HPBT. 

Thought I'd take a few photos comparing 6mmARC with 6.5 Grendel ammo.

I've got a Hornady Black 6mmARC cartridge with a 105gr HPBT and a Hornady American Gunner 6.5 Grendel with a 120gr HPBT.

For fun, I've also got Nosler RDFs in 6mm 105gr and 6.5mm 130gr, and Sierra 6mm 90gr TGK and 6.5mm 107gr TMK.

Lee Precision has the Pacesetter 3 die set, collet die set and the factory crimp die listed on their website under new products.  The Lee website says all their 6arc dies will be available beginning August 14th and they are taking back orders now if you want to buy directly from them.

I’m Going to use these starting loads for the following powders using the 95 gr SST and 100 gr TGK, I don’t think these will hurt me or the rifle.

8208XBR 23.0 grains
A2520 26.0 grains
Leverevolution 27.2 grains

Anybody have any thoughts or other suggestions?

I've been gathering parts for a 6.5G build for a while and when the 6arc was announced I started wondering, or maybe wandering. My first deer rifle was a Remington 742 in 6mm Remington so I have a soft spot for the caliber. I have most of my parts but I'm currently waiting on a receiver set from Aero and then I'll be looking for a barrel and BCG to finish off my build.

Meet the newest member of the family!

Still waiting on a couple of parts for the lower, but with the arrival of the barrel yesterday I couldn't resist any longer.

It's a Anderson upper, forward assist and dust cover parts are AR15 discount's NBS, 20" CMMG SBN barrel, Tri-fecta QD flash hider, Black Rilfle Parts bolt and the bolt carrier can't remember (old age i guess).  The optic is a Nikon 3-9x50 prostaff in Nikon P22 mounts.

Right now its hung on a bushy lower with RA-140 trigger and ambi safety, but it gets me shooting!
