I have been looking at ultrasonic cleaners for my brass. It looks like the ones specific to brass are more expensive than a generic ultrasonic cleaners.  Wht is the advantage to the ones marketed for reloading?

Ok I have some Hornady .243 6mm 90gr CX bullets , it looks like LEVERevolution powder can be had and Hornady on their reloading page said they used Federal 205 primers which can be gotten 

I have 8 boxes of Hornady 103gr ELD-X ammo and will have a cz527 with a 24" barrel when PacNor sends it back 

So should I be able to match what is printed in their app. it lists 3000 fps for 31.7 gr and 3050 fps for 32.3 gr and how far down from max load is it safe to start at ?

Also Hornady listed Federal primers but are they the ones to use 

Turns out I know someone that reloads I just have to get the 6mm ARC stuff

First time poster and hand loader. I have an 18” barrel gas gun in you guessed it, 6arc and was curious if this would be a good fit for the cartridge seeing it’s very close to LVR. I picked up a pound to try but not sure where to start with charge weight. If nothing else I’m going to need some powder to fire form some new brass!  . Does anyone have any experience using this in their gun and if so what sort of data would you feel comfortable sharing?

Hi guys. Been reading the forum for a while, but finally registered. My intro is in the proper place if you’re interested.

Seems like I remember some discussion about one or more places to have a barrel nitrided. Can’t seem to find that thread at the moment.
I have several barrels I need to break in, and am considering having them nitrided afterwards to extend the life. Has anyone actually done this? Any thoughts on the subject?

Hi all. I’m new to 6 ARC, but have been involved with ARs for many years. 
I was Bandit on ar15.com before it totally went to shit, and was the founder of Excalibur Arms Inc.
Been out of the business for a while, kicking around the idea of giving it another shot. Dealing with physical issues related to a couple of hot rod motorcycle crashes, and getting old.
Got parts to build a couple of 6 ARCs. Chose a 24” BA barrel for one, and a 20” Faxon for the other. Got a fair stock of factory ammo, and reloading supplies for a variety of options. 
Got divorced again a while back, so I no longer have the 100 yd range in my backyard. Need to find a range I can stretch my legs on. Got a couple of 6.5 Creedmoor uppers, and a couple of new 308 barrels that need broken in.

I’m wanting some solid copper, loaded ammo for some hog hunting in October.

I’m on the notify list for Copper Creek, and am watching Druid Hill and Maker Bullets to see if they come out with one.

Anyone have any ideas?

I’m open to a custom loader if they have some options.

What AR bolt do you use in your 6 ARC ARs and why?

I use Maxim Firearms bolts. They are middle of the road in terms of cost and seem to have a good online reputation.

Starline 6.5 grendel brass available. Check Midway or Armor ally. one of the more cost effective ways for forming 6mm ARC brass .75 cents a piece plus shipping.
